Canal Street, WTC, Top of the Rock, MoMA

New York York has so much to offer and even though Normans family was here for 10 days it still seemed like we had to rush to see things and still missed out on so many others.

Canal Street is a must to get any knock off designer items you may be eying. And it really is just an interesting place to go and see for yourself. Those people down there are master hustlers!
The variety of fruit stands goes on and on
The streets are lined with people selling things out of bags

The World Trade Center is such an important part of New York history it's a must see.
It's so hard to capture just how big this building is
This tree withstood the fires and destruction 11 years ago and is still standing today.
What a better way to see the city than 70 stories up. The Top of the Rock offers great views and is less crowded then the Empire State building.

Normans mom is an art history major so when they planned on visiting New York, the Museum of Modern Art was first on her list. It houses some of favorite artists and paintings.

  1. Art major, but I'm sure she knows enough about history too! Love the pictures!
