This year more than any other year, we feel extremely blessed as a family. We've been given the wonderful gift of happy and healthy children and a loving family. The start of this Christmas season started off a little rough. With our student loan waiting somewhere in the land known as Ross University, Christmas was going to look very bleak for out little loved ones. I had a conversation with Norm Jr days before Christmas explaining to him as best as I could the situation. And that sweet little boys repsonse was "It's okay Mommy, Christmas isn't about presents, it's Jesus' birthday." What a good reminder huh? Sometimes we got lost in the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, that we forget the real reason. But thanks to our amazing family, they stepped in and made this Christmas over the top for a darling little 4 year old boy he is enjoying this holiday season more than any other in years past.
It's so refreshing to season Christmas through his eyes.
Here he is, as happy as can be with his Grandpop from Florida. My parents, sister, brother and his wife made the trip to Maryland this year. We've been so blessed to have so many visitors. You can check out my sister-in-laws blog with details of their drive over that scary bridge/tunnel and their trip to the casino.
We hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!
